Home Reno’s

Oy I am exausted. Spent 10 hours today on my feet, stripping old wallpaper off the walls and then patching the drywall. What a long day. I know it’a going to be so worth it when it’s done, but man, renovating a home a is alot of work. Once all the drywall is patched and ready we have to paint, then lay our new bamboo hardwood floor, then put in all the new baseboard, window and door frames. Then we move in on the 30th. Then we get to unpack and settle in…I am guessing that by end of November we will get to relax haha. I just have to keep repeating my mantra: It’s all going to be worth it, this is our home and we are going to love the outcome”.

I took before pictures and I will take after pictures and post them side by side to show off our handycraft πŸ™‚

However-Weeeee I am a home ownner- and that feels good. My poor aching feet, guess I am not going to stay awake long enough to see Saturday night live after all. Sleeeeeppppp! Puppy will have me up at 6:30 again.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
