New York, New York…

Through rain, and snow and sleet and hail….our trip to New York City shall prevail.
We leave tommorow. See you on the flipside.
14 hours of driving, split over 2 days so let’s hope the roads are not to bad and the storms keep at bay.
I am sooooo excited to see The Nutcraker at the NYC Ballet.

On the sad side of this holiday…
We are going to get a special candle in New York  then burn it down on the 24th, around the time of his birth (11pm) and say goodbye to our baby boy Evan. Feels so wrong to say that, that we are going to say goodbye, we should be celebrating the holidays and his first birthday.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
