Were in the USA

Ok so were just inside the border of Maine staying in a little Motel.
It took us a bit longer then we anticipated, but that’s cause some streches of highway were pretty snowy and we had to take it
slow. Anyhow, it is BLOODY cold here, like icy freezing cold. Bone chilling painful cold.
Tommorow morning we make the long 10ish? hour trek left from Maine for NYC. Can’t wait to arrive.
I love road trips and Oliver has now officially pee’d on American soils heheh.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Yay!!!!!!!!!!
I’ve never been to Maine! Take tons of pics!!!!

    • Hehe didn’t take any pictures of Maine, it was pretty boring and cold, really looked just like Nova Scotia so not to exciting to us. I took some pictures in Massachusetts though, it was very pretty, New England is very very picturesque.
Now we are on E39th, Downtown Manhattan πŸ™‚ 20th floor great view.
We only got in at 6pm, TRAFFIC, it was frightful, it took us one hour to go 20km. However, we went and walked Oliver, had some yummy sushie, picked up some wine to sip on tonight in our room, and some Alleve, which I get everytime I cross the US border since i’ts prescription only and very pricy to get Naproxen in Canada πŸ™‚
Were here πŸ™‚ The centre of the Universe haha. Really it feels like a bigger Toronto so far….
