On the road again….

Were off. Manhattan was lovely, we got more then exptected, saw 99% of everything we wanted to see, almost got mob trampled by children gone wild on boxing day at FAO Shwartz, bought a Chanel knock off bag on Broadway and  spent 90$ on awesome cheese at Murray’s in the Greenwhich village then had tea, a heartfelt gift exchange and some awesome conversations with darlingmiette  .
I am fulfilled,  it was a perfect pilgrimage. Now we have 3 day’s to get home since I don’t have to work until the 30th, so we are debating where to stop on the the way home and what to do. We are deff. stopping at Ikea in Connecticut and then might sleep somewhere in Massachusetts tonight, I guess we will drive until we feel exausted and see from there.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

Have a safe trip home, with lots of fun stops along the way. I’ll catch you next time north of the border hopefully!

  2. Oh, it sounds like a totally worthwhile trip! YAY!!!!
