About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. I’m right there with you on your first three (except the free membership thing). Here’s to a great 2009!
Glad to see New York was good to you guys- I thought about you and Evan a lot over the holidays.

    • Thanks. Here’s to a better year, I hope, but I am not 100% convinced yet. Ha! how hard is it to stop being a closet pessimist when so much bad shit has happened to you.

  2. These sound very good. I’m down with all of it, though I don’t have a backyard to put a deck or patio and we already have a laptop 😛
    Free YMCA membership!? LUCKY.
