Nothing much new.

Dinner with friends was nice Saturday-with them I can be myself, down if I want. I was down and told them about Friday, but things turned around and we had dinner, wine and pie and it was nice. We watched Slumdog Millionaire again, they had not seen it, I love it enough that watching it again was not a concern.

Last night Dave and I went to see My Bloody Valentine in 3D, It was not Ryan Phillip’s finest moment in acting, however I didn’t expect it would be. I fully was prepared for a cheesy slasher film so it lived up to my expectations. Today it’s back to work, back to the grind.
I am hoping to make it to the gym tonight to begin week 2 of Couch to 5K, the only thing that might prevent it is that Dave is having a Root Canal today so he likely won’t be up to gym it after that, and he and I are doing the program together to support each other.

For now I am just sitting here doing my month end data entry in my office and listening to show tunes:) I LOVE broadway and musicals as a whole so much more then just regular old music. Right now I have the soundtrack to Wicked, Rent, Cats, The Phantom and Repo! playing along with the soundtrack to Garden State and Slumdog Millionaire, all just shuffled together on party mix in Itunes.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
