Stupid Banks-My poor blood pressure.

Why do they INSIST on trying to take our mortgage payments out of our no longer existant savings account?
They tried to do this December 15th, 20th and then 30th. Of course there was no money in there, cause duh! We drained our savings when we bought this house 3 months ago. We gave them the account number, we told them it should come out of our checking account, were the money was sitting there waiting for them. Instead we got 3 NSF fee’s in December.  We confirmed and re-confirmed on January 12th that they had the right account and that it would come out of our checking account on the 15th and not our savings. Today we get a call saying that once again, our mortage is late. Upon investigation, they tried to take it out of our savings account AGAIN on January 13th and 23rd, not even the right dates, and we have 2 more NSF fee’s. These NSF’s are $45 each time. Those bastards now owe us 5 NSF fee’s, did I mention my husband is off work. We just had to fax them the bank statements showing all the NSF and failed withdrawal’s and they say they will refund us because it is their mistake and they had account notes on the whole thing. Now we have 2 months mortage payments to pay tommorow, now I know why we suddenly had extra cash. Oh well, as long they fix the damn thing and refund us the NSF’s then I will forgive them.

I hate money and bills. I guess mostly I just hate big banks, I hate even more that all this happen’s over the phone, I told them I was done with telephone banking, screw this crap.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. oh. My. GAWD. I would be all stabby-stabby!!!!!!!!!!

  2. UGH! We had the SAME ISSUE with our bank back in November and December (though for a credit card payment, not mortgage). It was so infuriating, but we finally got all the fees reversed.
I hate big businesses, too. Hope this is resolved soon ❤
