Ear annoyance

I woke up today just like any old day. I took my shower and I went to work. Halfway through the day I noticed my ear poping and crackling, now it feel’s like there is water in it that I can’t drain and still poping. Grr, Annoying. I have such issues with my ears, have since I was born. As a kid I had horrible ear infections all the time, then as an adult I have always had swimmers ear and reactions to chemicals in the city water, and now this past year 3 episodes of vertigo of varying lenghts and this damn ear thing today.

I was not breastfed and my mom smoked, that I feel is where the root of this began, not her fault in the 70’s that is how the system worked. She said no one even talked to her about breastfeeding being an option. Anyhow, this reinforces why breasmilk is so important, there are studies showing that breastfed kids have a much much lower incidence of chronic ear infections, amongst all the other benefits.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
