Sooo busy.

Life has been crazed, work is crazy, like just barely enough time to scarf down lunch crazy.
Here is an example of my day yesterday,
9:30-1pm workshop facilitation
1:30-2 eat
2-3:30 client appointment
3:30-4:00 return 5 of the 20 pending phone calls I have to return currently.
5pm arrive home, play with Oliver in the yard
6-7pm go to the gym and impress myself with how much my running stamina has grown
7-8 groceries, vet for food and flee prevention treatments
8:20 arrive home again, cook dinner while putting away groceries and unloading clean dishes from dishwasher
9-10 eat dinner, load dirty dishes into the dishwasher and watch Top Model
10-10:30 check email
10:30-11:00 Try to make a baby, also impressed at how much husband’s stamina has increased hahaha, and I don’t mean running stamina either.
11:30-6:30-Try and sleep, not very successful with so much on mind and feeling hyper.

The rest of the week is rinse lather repeat. We have sooo much to do around the house in the next couple of week, (read insert and hang pocket door to our bedroom, clean yard and get grass ready for grass seed, dig up areas I will be planting flowers in this summer, clean out the rain trophs, build 8×10 deck, build wooden base for new shed (before wood, which is sitting outside now get’s stolen or damaged) place new shed on said base, dismantle old shed, rent a trailer and haul all the crap from the past 6 months of reno’s to the dump to get yard ready for summer) with all these repairs and upgrades happening the regular cleaning has been put on the backburner but I have two cats and a dog so the place get’s messy fast. The house has to be thoroughly cleaned this weekend, plus I have plan’s with a friend. Whoa, I am exausted.

and what I really want to know is with all this damn serious cardio and running training I have introduced into my life, how is it possible that my pants are tighter then they were before I started? I am not eating more. My metabolism sucks and it makes me frustrated. Lucky for me I am enjoying the running.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Oh well that is good I read the other comment about tigher pants and so that is awesome! =) so glad to hear.

  2. pants tighter = more developed muscle

    • Ok good, great on the building muscle factor, but it need’s to start turning around cause really, who takes on a hard exercise program, pushes themselves hard, to move into bigger pants, something isn’t adding up there. Let’s hope it’s temporary, cause I don’t care about pounds but I do care about inches. Besides, I can’t afford another new wardrobe I already have 2, pre and post baby clothes.
