Ouch my back…

Ok so wtf?? last night I had my best run yet, beautiful night running outside at the park, completed 5k in 40 minutes and it felt great, I thought everything was fine. Then I got in the car and drove home. Getting out of the car I felt a pain shoot across my lower back, then when I got inside it got more intense, and as the night moved along it got worse. I barely slept at all. Today it’s a burning pain around my right hip, front and back and I have been saying to myself…I know this pain, this burning nerve pain, I know it all to well. This is the exact same injury I had late in pregnancy with Evan, it’s the Sacroiliac joint again. Grrr. I thought this injury was healed, it’s been over a year with no pain, I guess it’s still sensitive after all. This had better pass soon and stop rearing it’s ugly head cause my 5k race is this freaking Sunday and I have been preparing for it for months…grrr.

I am in alot of pain today, that kind that shoots all around when you twist or bend the wrong way and now I am nauseous from the pain medication, ouch! I guess I have to call the Chiropractor and see what they think.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. sciatic pain. Ugh. Hate it. When I was pregnant with Abby, my doctor said “The only cure to that is delivery”. He was WRONG. It still flares up every once in a while. Laying flat on my back KILLS but I am usually ok otherwise unless I do a lot of walking.
I hope the chiropractor can help. Let me know how it goes. I’ve been thinking about that too
