Ow, motherfucking ow!

The chiroprator did help a little, he removed the nerve pain so that it’s not a shooting pain anymore. Now I just have pain from the swollen tissue around where the herniated disk was, and it just like red hot burning pain, but at least it’s not shooting, just constant.
All the back med’s in the world don’t seem to dull this pain, all I can do is wait and ice. So painful, just throbing pain.

I will not be able to run the motherfucking marathon on Sunday, no way, sadly, after raising $300 and training for 4 months, I decided to just make peace with the fact that at least I can still walk it, just have to be careful. So walk it I shall. I am just dissapointed cause I could have walked it without any training at all and I feel like the training was for nothing, but there will be other marathons.

This sucks!

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Having to walk the race sucks, after all the work you’ve put in.
Hoping that pain dulls really soon.

  2. ((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))))
