Soy…the verdict.

As per

I took a strong dose of Soy Isoflavens this past month from cycle days 3-7 to try and get the egg to come earlier then usual. It seems to work for many, however, as per the Vitex experiment of the month before, it didn’t apear to work for me. Today I am on cycle day 19, and I always ovulate on cycle day 19-20. In fact the only thing taking the soy seems to have done for me is given me a very shark tooth like chart, up and down, up and down….when my temperatures have always been relatively stable. This month I got temperatures lower then I ever have. I did not open mouth sleep more the usual, and our house is warmer, not colder then it has been. Besides my temperature histories were split between 3 homes so this is just outside my normal pattern in terms of stability.

Sigh..what to do next, well of course I will just keep trying and I guess if it’s dosent happen soon talk to my doctor about chlomid as a last resort, to force ovulation to come earlier. It dosen’t resolve the problem though, which is what I really want. HOWEVER..I have started seeing a chiropractor for my back and he ‘claims’ the area of my pelvis (sacral) that is all jammed up and stuck is also connected to the nerves and blood flow that affect reproductive organs..thus..fetility, and that as my alignment get’s better, my luteal phase length might improve.

Tha’t all for now..Oh here is the chart.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Hey, how old is your thermometer? You might want a new one (or a new battery, if you can change it): shark like temp jumps tend to be from low battery…
(I didn’t look at the chart yet)

    • The thermometer is 2 years old, being used for 15 months aprox. could be it, I don’t know.
Honestly I am getting bored of temping and such for now, so I won’t bother buying a new one, instead I will just have lots of sex and pay attention to my symptoms/cm.
I need a temping break, it’s starting to annoy me.

      • I think a temping break is a Good Idea 😀 I took a few of those, myself.
