Symptoms..

on and on with the crazy heightened sense of smell, couldn’t use my towel this morning cause it smelt bad. Super crazy gag reflex, I barfed up my vitamins this morning cause they rubbed my throat going down. Nipples on overdrive with the pointing, very particular food choices, like really particular, like I told Dave today I would eat pork chops but only over white rice, no carrots, he wants carrots πŸ™‚ and finally exaustion, slept 9.5 hours last night and could have slept more, just sleepy.

All of this of course makes me happy, reminds me what is happening inside.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. I’m so happy for you!

    • Your reply was just blank? πŸ™‚

      • lol i can see it. I just wrote “love it!” about all the symptoms you’re feeling because it’s a good thing!

      • haha I sure hope so cause man, I am only 3 weeks in to this baby’s existance and the smell/taste thing is woah strong. haha. I almost barfed all over the lunch room today with all those smells. This happened to me with Evan, I threw up in the Toronto food court cause of the smells mixes of grease, curry and B.O. haha, and I hated Toronto cause everything looked and smelled dirty and like pee πŸ™‚ haha.

      • in the words of my son “yuck yuck” lol. I mean usually it is a good thing from everything I’ve read in the first trimester to experience this! With Elijah and sort of this baby I was the same way, some things the way they smelled and taste was just NASTY. I also had a metallic taste in my mouth with Elijah.

  2. yay! not that things smell or make you puke, but yay for real true symptoms!

  3. If the vitamins become an issue for your stomach, I always took mine at night and it really helped.

    • Ya I will have to watch and see, today it was the texture of the vitamin going down into my throat, if it came down to it I would look for good liquid vitamins.
