7 week itch

I am 7 weeks according to LMP and oh my do I ever feel pregnant.
Heartburn, burps, exaustion…
The nausea never ends, no food is appealing at this point, in fact I hate eating but I have to or I feel sick. Catch 22. Who am I kidding I feel sick anyways. I am lossing weight already, my pants are loose. My nipples are hard all-the-time and soar, I keep hitting them with my arms by accident and then whimper a little. I need a heavily padded bra, but I wear a D cup so I don’t need any extra padding geesh. My dreams are insane, crazy ass, and preventing me from getting enough sleep. However. enough sleep by definition these days is 10-11 hours a night, even then I start yawning around 5pm.

I can’t beleive how drastically differant this pregnancy is to my last already. Dave says and I agree my symptoms are way stronger and came on a few weeks ealier. I am 7 weeks and can feel my round ligaments pulling already.

At the end of the day, it all makes me smile, because YEAY, I am expecting and I have waiting for this for 6 months, and I just want to believe this baby will make it home and into my loving adoring arms. Also-EVERYONE even Dave thinks this one is a girl, I don’t know, baby hasen’t whispered in my ear yet but I really could care less about gender I just want pink, chubby and healthy.

Here is a seven week old Fetus πŸ™‚ Adorable I say. No longer Manatee like, now like a wee person. By wee I mean the size of an aspirin haha.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Yeah, you’re having a girl. Do you know when you had sex in relation to ovulation? That could clinch it πŸ™‚
And omg, I was the SAME WAY with the catch 22 of eating/nausea, UGH.
Defnitely lots of ginger. I would boil a chopped up root in a saucepan of water, then add it to a pitcher of cold water, let it cool completely… add lemon (and honey if you like it sweet) and it’d last maybe two days in the fridge until I drank it all. it did help πŸ™‚
Weee the little aspirin is adorable!

    • Hmm well how can your pedict gender from sex timming?
I don’t know exactly when I conceived Evan, I had sex day before, of and after with him.
Anyhow, with this pregnancy is was the two days before ovulation only, not day of or after. So how does that read?
that ginger water sounds heavenly, I want. πŸ™‚
My aspirin is damn adorable haha. It’s parents are hot so it’s bound to be.

  2. We saw manatees at Sea World and I thought of you.

  3. I remember my 8 week ultrasound and seeing my baby moving around I was so amaze at something so small moving around! I look at my son’s 10 week u/s pic and can’t believe that is now my 2 year old. It is amazing, I know I’ve said it before but it is!
The symptoms are not so fun, but we know its for a good cause!

  4. yay!!!!!! this post made me smile πŸ™‚

  5. OMG! Look at those little toes. Yes, def. not quite a manatee any longer ;-P
I also noticed a lot of things happening sooner like showing, ligaments, etc with the second. I think your body knows what to do the second time around and just gets right down to it!
Still excited for you guys. Awww…

  6. OMG crazy I totally thought it was going to be a girl too!!

    • I would be over the moon reguardless of gender, but we have 10 rubbermaid bins in our basement filled with baby boy stuff most of which is brand new never used. Thus if she is a she and not a he, well she’s gonna be a tomboy cause I can’t sell all Evan’s stuff and replace it with girl stuff hhaha, I would keep anything not over the top boy and accent it with pink to make it clear haha. Oh well. Either way weee πŸ™‚

  7. It always amazes me how early on the fetus starts to look like a teeny tiny person. I mean, look at the little toes! Beautiful. So so happy and excited for you. Hang in there with the first trimester symptoms. Saltine crackers are a good staple for upset pregnant tummies.

    • Ya I do keep saltines near me at all times, sadly though they make my mouth to dry and that makes me feel sick too, so I need to have crackers and milk.
Cold milk has been my obessesion these days.

  8. do you guys have any names picked out?

    • Um anytime we think of a name we like we write it down, so we have a list and we won’t start narrowing it down until the baby is older, cause then we really feel in the name fits or not.

  9. i’m so happy for you, i get permagrin just thinking about it πŸ™‚ i think…hmm…i don’t know!!! i think boy but i think everyone is having a boy, HAHAHA.
