Food. Yummy. Food.

OMG I am in love love love love with celery and hummus. I eat it every day. I just ate it 10 minutes ago and I want more.
One consistant event throughout this pregnancy to date is an obsession with vegetables. In line with that I also drink low sodium V8 everyday, yummmmmmmy!
Also-I hate sugar and sweet things and oil smelling things these days.

Hey it could be so much worse πŸ™‚
I am sure my doctor would approve of said cravings and aversions.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. I love thinking back on my cravings and seeing how they correlate to what the kids are like now. In-utero Caspian wanted jalapenos on everything. Everything. And wasabi. And hot sauce. By the time he was about 1.5, he liked jalapenos. I never got the cravings for spice with Zinny, and she abhors spicy food. She sobs in despair if she gets anything remotely spicy. All she wanted in my womb was fats and sweets. Bread and butter especially, cookies, cake, chocolate. And she’s a total carb and sugar fiend now. I can’t get the darn girl to eat veggies usually.
You should keep track of the cravings so you can compare later!

  2. I wish I was craving veggies this pregnancy, it really sucks.

Good to hear from you, I think about you every day. I am going to Toronto for a wedding in October and I keep saying sooooo close to NY, Want to go see Maria,,,waaaa.
No time or money that trip.

      • UM HELLO!!! That is like 3.5 hours from JEN!!! We should totally meet you up there!!!!!!!!!!!!!! πŸ˜€

      • Ya for shiz that would be awesome. I just google mapped Toronto to Rochester and ya it says just under 3 hours, We could like meet half way.
I will be for like 7 days from aprox October 1st, for a wedding on the 3rd. Since we are all not woking weekdays that would be an ideal time to meet up we could leave early and go spend the whole with you since all our Toronto friends work weekdays.

  4. I am craving sweets a TON this pregnancy. I usually HATE them. I can’t get enough cake or pie or cookies now.
Celery sounds good…but maybe with cream cheese. MMm
