oh the places you’ll go…

Man the dreams….the dreams…..CRAZY.
Asian market kidnapping and selling people, they didn’t want me cause I was pregnant thus not worth anything. I got chocolat chip cookies outta the deal, swipped them when no one was looking, then Dave and I drove to Toronto. Ha!
My mind, I haven’t had a real nights peaceful sleep in ages, with the 4am pee wakeups, the nausea, the heartburn and the DAMN DREAMS haha.

Why oh why does my bottle of papaya enzymes say not to take them if pregnant or nursing? I took two last night for the heartburn and they worked marvelously and tasted yummy too, then I noticed that on the label. What the hell yo? I need to clentch this heartburn.
I need cinnamon gum, it worked miracles last time around with keeping the heartburn manageable, weird but true. They say it’s the saliva that you produce that calms the burning? I don’t know but my heartburn with Evan became so unmanigable in the end I was on Zantac everyday, he did have alot of hair 🙂

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. There’s a debate on papaya enzymes. What it comes down to is unrpe papaya CAN cause uterine contractions (although not ALL the time, otherwise overdue women would be able to eat unripe papaya and go into labor! We all know THAT doesn’t work!) but whether the enzymes are made from unripe papaya or not is unclear in my research.
Anecdotally, I know A LOT of women who have used it all through pregnancy.
