Movie, movies, movies, which are good..which are bad.

Been watching movies lots, just forgetting to write.

Last night saw The Soloist, Wow! I LOVED this movie, my eye were fixed on the screen the whole time, I couldn’t wait to see what would happen. Jamie Fox fully deserves an Oscar for this role, I think it would have been a very hard charecter to portray.
I have a passion for understanding/helping individuals with mental illness, it’s what I did for years in Toronto.

Sunday night I saw Push this was a good enough movie, interesting to watch, interesting storyline but I just felt like 3/4 of the story was a Hero’s rip off.

While in Moncton I went to the theatre and saw 500 Days of Summer, since I love Zooey DeChannel and think she usually choose wonderful roles I had high expectations. It let me down, it was just ok, not what I was hopping for.  I didn’t much care for her character in this movie, and the movie itself is not one that will go in history as one of her best. Lots of people seem to love it, and it did have some great moments and funny quotes overall I didn’t love it. I cried for the man though which dosen’t happen often haha.

That’s it for now.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
