Feeling so ill

The heat.
I feel like a hyprocrite saying that cause I am typically a heat lover, and I am so glad it’s sunny and not raining anymore.
I guess it’s official, this pregnancy + heat do not mix at all. I have been nauseous all day for two days and just feeling
dizzy and weak and overheated all the time. All I want is cold water, ice cold water, food makes me feel even more ill, but if I don’t eat I feel worse, so it’s a catch 22. Oy,

Nothing else, just needed to unload for a moment, I am at work and I feel like I am just surviving the day. It’s funny cause my horoscope today told me not to push myself to hard cause I wouldn’t be any good to anyone if I burnt out. hahah. August is the busiest month of the year for anyone in this industry cause tons of people are trying to cram in their college applications for subsidy these last remaining weeks before clases start. This means we are booked solid into September and by calling in sick yesterday I had to cram yesterdays 2 clients into the next 4 work days, so I have 4 new applicants to case manage today.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Maybe some cold foods, even stuff like popsicles, frozen yogurt, frozen grapes, etc?

    • I have been eating mostly nuts and dried fruit with loads of water and cold milk. It cooled down a bit last night so I felt better and had a decent dinner with corn and chicken on bbq. Thankfully.

  2. (((((hugs))))
(OK, sorry fir this assvice, but the Jewish mom in me combined with the almost having to go to the ER this weekend for dehydration part of me advices: make sure you’re replenishing your electrolytes and not just hydrating with water! Especially if eating is tough! OK, end of assvice ;D)
