How we love our animals

Ok as much as I have been complaining about my pet’s (cat’s) lately, I still love and adore them. Today I read in the paper that there was a head on collision locally from a drunk driver, he went across the line and hit another car, the female driver of that car is fine but her dog was killed on impact. All I could think about was Oliver sitting on the passenger seat next to me when I drive and I felt panicked and started wondering about car seats for dogs.

Then I saw this in post secrets and the tears came pouring down. Oh goodness it’s too much to bear.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Ugh…When my dog of 17 years died while I was out of town (he was at the vet’s and had a diabetic reaction plus was super old), I was sooooo sad that I couldn’t be there with him. It still bothers me immensely.
That’s so sad about the car crash as well.
