SI update

Saw my physiotherapist this morning..the verdict is as I thought, my right hip has gone out of alignment as it did in my last trimester with Evan. The burning is in fact, two joints rubbing the way they shouldn’t. She did some resistance exercices with me which helped re-align the hip but it’s temporary. I have to be super cautious how I walk and move and see her once a week. She did ultrasound and icing to relieve inflamation.

Today I woke up with a back spasm in my upper right back, FUN! I know it’s because my posture is all off. I have a massage on Saturday to at least help with the muscle discomfort.

I asked her if I should see a Chiropractor, she said wait until the end of the week and see and then we will decide. Can do.

I am not in dire pain, some people might describe it that way but I have a higher threshold of pain now since childbirth and all, so to me, this hurts but it’s mostly just strong discomfort I can bear for now. (So long as my nerves don’t join the party, that was the worse pain ever).

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
