Evangeline my daughter :)

Busy but good weekend.
Saturday was our appointment at UC Baby the 3D ultrasound clinic and it was so much fun. Evangeline is most certainly a girl. She is already a thumb sucker and apparently very flexible haha. She had her toes on top of her head at some points during the scan. She is not head down as the nurse thought last week, that or she turned since then. She was, during this scan reclined quite comfortably with the back of her head against my anterior placenta (i,e facing my back) with her hands up over her head (or in her mouth) and her knee’s in tight to her body (or up over her head sometimes). She is very cute and has chubby cheeks already and long lean looking limbs. There were many obstructions to our seeing her face, she had both hands and both feet in front of her face at one point, and then when those moved aside, the cord was floating right in front of her nose and mouth. Reguardless she is beautiful and it was a wonderful experience.

Now some pictures

All curled up with no place to go.

Chubby cheeks with a cord across her eyes and down her shoulder.

Thumb Sucker…Love this.

I can put my legs up in front of my face. Now you can’t see me.

29 weeks old and already covering her ears when I am talking to her.

I is a girl and I has nice long legs

About mommamaynard

โ€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.โ€ โ€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
