31 weeks…well almost.

Baby is head down and deep in there…woot. I knew it based on her kicks and the fact the last week just BAM my SI STOPPED hurting.
Like really, just like that pain gone…It’s amazing and I am hoping and praying it stays this good over the coming weeks.
Blood pressure is stable, up 10lbs total now, happy healthy baby heart. Almost no water rentention at all.
Really, the only complaint I have right now at all (outside the crazy anxiety of lossing her now that I love her so much) is that I have horrendous constant heartburn and indigestion, and starting last weekend super nausea. This morning the first thing I did was puke.
It is soothed by eating, but it comes on fast and furious, I have spent to much time heaving over my work garbage can.

Belly pictures to come. I am round. Very round.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. 10 lbs?!?! I am so very very jealous that’s all you’ve gained.
Glad to hear that your pain is better. Gosh, time is ticking, you’re almost at the end.
(I had that horrible heartburn too, it sucks.)

    • Ya…but I was like 40-50lbs heavier then I should be when I got pregnant, so I really shouldn’t gain to much and luckily my body agree’s it seems.
Time is ticking..tick, tick, tick..now I feel like you did in those last days..can we please just get baby out while baby is still thriving BUT not so soon that her lungs are not ready. Emotional tug a war.

  2. Awesome!!!! So exciting, it’s almost baby time!!!!

  3. That’s awesome that the pain is gone!

  4. glad the SI stopped hurting!
My chiro says indigestion can come from tightness or pinched nerves in about the mid back (like right at bottom of ribs area). For me, it does seem that when that is all locked up I have more heartburn.

    • I am sure he is probably right. I wish I have enough $$ or benefits to cover chiro treatment, it’s so expensive that I try and limit it to when I am despretly in need.

  5. Really, it just stopped? Wow, that is awesome! (Remy never engaged, so I have no idea if that would have happened. Literally, up til I was in CRAZY ACTIVE LABOR, his head was floating. And then once it did engage, that was when I stopped being able to pee and funtimewithpain started. So, overall, I think it was probably good he didn’t engage, weird as it was!)

    • Ya..it just stopped, like BAM, can’t walk-then gone.
I mean don’t get me wrong, I am no spry chicklet here, my PSD is still there, it’s still flared, I still can’t sleep on my sleep or put my pants on one leg at a time, it still throbs, but so long as I do the things I have to do, it stays calm and I barely notice. The SI pain was way more intense then the PSD pain was anyways, cause your SI is required to like stand, turn, walk, and you have to sleep on it no matter what, so it was causing me way more trouble then the pubis, and it’s gone 🙂 so I can live with the rest.
      Thank you Evangeline.

  6. this post makes me happy. i miss pregnancy very much.

  7. Oh I have such a wonderful feeling about this little girl. I’ve stasrted calling her Evie, is that weird? Lol
Oy I can’t wait to meet her irl and squish those cheeks 🙂
Also love your belly and can’t wait to see more piccies!

    • (I’ve been calling her Evie or Eva-la in my head :D)

      • I do like Evie, and you can both call her whatever you like. I think we are going to use Eva for short.
Her cheeks were like prob. my favorite part of the 3D shots, that and the thumb sucking. My ultrasound on Monday they said she already has lots of hair it seems.
I got Dave to take a bunch of belly pics, but my battery died so I charged it up last night and will upload a bunch of pics tonight.
