Ouch my rib.

Ok so last night as I sat on the couch, I sneezed hard and I heard a pop as I did and felt an excruciating pain shoot through my left top rib.
I have no idea what I did but OW 12 hours later it still throbs, Dave thinks I bascially bruised it, or pulled a muscle around that rib. All I know is is hurts, damn.
Oh yes, 34 weeks yesterday with Mrs. E. 3 weeks til full term, 4ish weeks ti birth, I hope.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

I am not preg. but I did that sneezing a
few weeks ago.. my sis in law who is a gp actually sent me to her chiro and he fixed it .. apparently I put 3 ribs out and two were on the other side than the one that really hurt.

  2. I did that laughing at some dumb movie in week 21 or so… OH MY FREAKING GOSH IT HURT!!!!! I thought for a minute my gallbladder had burst (mine was the right ribs, not the left and I didn’t hear it pop cause I was laughing too hard!!!)
Long story short, I ended up seeing a doctor about it, who was also an osteopath and did a mild adjustment that helped a little, but it was really just a muscle sprain and hurt for like a week while it healed.
This reminds me not to bust a rib laughing this time round!

  3. Every baby seems to have his/her own way of putting their mother into a lot of pain! Crazy. I hope it feels better!
