On food and pregnancy

On days when she is crazy active, like today, I can’t stay full.
She is crazy today, my belly morphing all over the place, taking my breath away. I am STARVING.
The problem is I am super duper craving french fries and gravy, but I am supposed to watch my sodium. Boo!
I had a big ol salad for lunch, dosen’t that count for anything.
I guess I will make a Tuna melt instead, I know, Tuna bad, mercury ect..but seriously, I need protein and want Tuna, I hate all meats
and have been eating cheese and yogurt all damn day.

Soo hungry.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. eat what you want… by this point you can not eat enough tuna to harm her!! xoxoxox

    • I did eat the whole damn can of tuna.
I can’t eat salty stuff, I am prone to hypertension in late pregnancy, my mother was too. My BP starts creeping up around 35 weeks and I have to watch my salt intake and drink lots and lots of water to keep it cool. It was high normal at my last appointment so I have been trying to be careful.
