Later Skaters

Just about to hop in the shower, Dave is still asleep. I woke up fed the cats, let the dog out to pee, had a quick bite and now to get ready to launch. 1.5 hours from now I will be checking in the hospital to have the gel applied to my cervix to hopefully get things quick started.

Dear Cervix:
Please do your thing and don’t make me wait 12 bloody hours to get to 4cm or something silly like that. I would very much appreciate it. You were nicely at 3cm as soon as labor began with Evan so you know how to do this.
Much love.

I pray the next time you hear from me on here I will be talking about how long she is and how much she weighed and how lovely and heartily pissed off she sounded upon exiting my womb πŸ™‚

Jaime.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
