Oliver and Evangeline

For those wonderful what our spoiled little puppy thinks of his new little sister, here is your answer. He knows she is important to us so he is very respectful of her, he is even protective of her following her when we move her room to room, and staying nearby when she cries. He likes to lick her hand and head and is all around very gentle with her. Sometimes in her sleep she flails her arms or legs and hits him by accident and he jumps and tries to play with her, not understanding it was not on purpose. His only sign of jelously arises when Dave is cuddling the baby, he seems fine with me doing it, but when she is on Dave’s chest he whines and brings Dave lots of toys to try and cox him to play. All in all he is being a very good sport about it all.

And now..more photos 🙂

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. OOOOhhhh! I love these photos the best, lol. Not just for the adorable fleece pants on her but also nice to see Oliver is getting along so well with his new sis.

    • He is really good to her, but he is jelous, he is ultra clingy but he is doing a good job adapting. I try to make sure Dave gives him extra attention cause he has the energy to spare were I dont.

  2. Oh wow he’s bigger than she is!

  3. That is adorable. I am wondering how our cats are going to be when little Charlotte arrives.

  4. OMG he’s so much bigger then she is! it’s amazing how small she really is! she has changed a lot in the last couple of days, she’s filling out! won’t be long before rolls of chub are surrounding her ankles knees elbow and wrists! oh I can’t wait to get my hands on her! lol!! ❤ her so much!!

    • I hope your right, I was so disapointed on Tuesday at her weigh in that she hadn’t gained anything back yet after 6 days at home. I mean I was glad she haden’t lost anymore, but wanted to see those numbers going back up, especially considering how much she is nursing. ‘
She is way more alert and is showing way more personality already, she talks in her sleep and makes happy sounds when she is nursing so it’s cute.

  5. He will love it when she can actually play with him! Emma just really started playing with Shelby, mostly climbing on her, but they both enjoy it.
ps, I added you when you had Evangeline. I have been following your pregnancy for a while. I am also friends with Jen, Maria, Steph, and others:) I hope you feel comfy enough to add me back.
