The Genetics lab at the IWK just called me to confirm that all E.’s tests came back normal.
No shit.
Her face corrected itself already. If it was a birth defect it would not just fix itself. Instead of a cone head she got a flat face πŸ™‚ it’s a rough job being born. I don’t care if her facial moulding was atypical and unlike any you had ever seen. My baby girl is a non-conformist and wonderful because of it. Open your minds and stop jumping directly aboard the pathology bandwagon. She is perfect in all her tiny glory.
Thank you.
A hyper-protective mama bear.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
