Baby Mine..

I wonder how much she weighs now? If I can really see and feel the difference in the last two weeks it must be a significant leap.
She is 3 months and 3 weeks and today she is wearing a size 6 months outfit and its only a bit big in the arm bands and neckline, size 3 months pants make her look like she waiting for a flood. Her cheeks look so full and pudgy this week and her thighs are nice and juicy (for her) now, but her upper body remains lean, no arm rolls for her yet. We don’t have another Well Baby appointment til 5 months since she only got her 2 month DaPT vaccine at 3 months and they are done two months apart.

On that topic, after extensive research and reading, we decided we are finishing the 3 part infant DaPT and Hib series and that is all for now..I mean she wouldn’t be scheduled for anymore til 12 months anyways, but the 12 month MMR and Varicella we are not doing, we will if she finds herself 13ish and still hasn’t naturally contracted immunity to these, that is the plan right now.

She has discovered all kinds of new sounds she can make and is hilarious, the expressions, I have a video recording of it and have to shrink it and upload it. I also have some hilarious footage of her in the Jolly Jumper to upload. She is so busy she doesn’t want to sleep, but has no choice, so it goes like this, 2-3 days with bi-hourly wakings, hyperactive sleep and short naps, then a crash out day where she naps 3-4 hours and sleeps for 7-8 consecutive hours overnight. Just enough for me to regain my sanity 🙂 Today for instance she has been up since 7:30am, 8 hours, with 2 10 minute naps, on me whilst nursing. This after waking me up all night long..this after the night of the Tick..needless to say I am crazy exhausted and short fused, but managing, the sunshine and her adorable smiles help.

Here’s a pic of her sporting some rhinestone encrusted jammies [info]teacup9 sent her

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. We dont even do MMR here til 18 months but lucas will not be getting it either. I think its required for school though so if I cant get an exemption he will probably be getting it around 4-5.

Lucas will be starting with his dtap and Hib once he stops being so sick. I think you made an awesome decision about shots! Glad you really looked into it. Its so sad when parents go into HUGE decisions like that so blindly .
