About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  3. She’s so cute! I love how proud she looks that she’s sitting up. Peter is like that, too, now that he can inch worm around the place.

    • She’s totally proud. Such a funny girl, she missed the memo that patience is a virtue and instead expects everything now…alot of tantrums around these parts..you know when the cracker won’t get into the mouth just so…oy. Were wiggling and inching all over as well.

      • I kind of enjoy the fits. Peter will yell and holler at a toy that isn’t doing what it’s supposed to be doing to him and it cracks me up. He’s also taken to fake crying (he thinks hes pulling one over on us) when he BARELY bumps his head on something. We’ll watch him, and he will tap his head on his cradle (now that we are on to no longer leaving him in bed alone), wail, stop wailing and look around for us, make eye contact, wail until he sees we aren’t picking him up, and then tap his head and start the whole thing over again.
