ok..now the good :)

I have a wonderful husband and an amazingly intelligent and stunning little girl. Her willful persistent nature will only serve her well in life and I love that she is so strong willed for that reason (despite being hard on me now)..Dave and I are doing very well, especially now that I have asked for help and admit I have a problem, he feel’s there is hope now and we have started getting along better again.

Now for Evangeline. She will be 8 months old tomorrow..I have alot to say about her frustrating personality traits but there is plenty of great stuff too, so in the balance of Yin Yang and all of that:

-She says mamama when she is sad or upset, she says dadadada when she is excited and when she see’s Dave. Also when prompted.
-She LOVES food, like loves food..with a fury, it’s hilarious, she attacks food in a frenzy. She has yet to taste anything she dislikes, including olives and onions :).
-She sits perfectly and lunges forward onto all 4’s and rocks. She then collapses to her belly, pulls herself back up onto all 4’s and tries again..but can’t seem to get past that yet, which frustrates her to no end.
-She has no teeth, but chews everything, drools and all the time and has red cheeks. Has for a month. Don’t know what is up with that.
-She copies us, with waving, and things we do with objects which is awesome.
-She is in music class and LOVES the songs, she also knows how to play the tambourine, the rattles and the wooden sticks. She sings to herself all the time and it’s so cute.
-She has figured out her mouth makes funny noises if she screams and vibrates her hand or her feet over her mouth. She does this all the time, on public buses and everything.
-She get’s very vocal when people don’t acknowledge her while out in public, they all say,"boy’s she has alot to say"..she will ham it up and do everything she can to get them to pay attention to her.
-She LOVES being outdoors. When in a foul mood, I take her out to the garden and show her the plants and she is happy.
-She really likes older kids..seems to look up to them.

About mommamaynard

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. I’m sorry E’s been so cranky lately 😦 Those teeth are really nasty!

We went out today, and Bea was just a perfect angel, even falling asleep on me (which she never does without nursing) so I guess these babes are little tricksters!

I guess that you being so worn out and in need of rebalancing that makes it more difficult to cope with this. Bea and I certainly have our days – when I practically throw her into Triple’s arms the second he walks in the door!
