Developments and Milestones
At just before her 9 month birthday Evangeline finally outgrew her infant car seat and thus needed a new convertible one. We knew which one we wanted as two of our friends had the Evenflo Triumph and were so happy with it, we were sold. The cool strap adjust-ability crank system was an amazing invention as far as Dave and I are concerned after months and month of horrible threading and re-threading the stupid harness on our infant seat for various thickness of diapers and sweaters. Anyways, Evangeline appears to approve as she has yet to complain in it. We are still going to use the infant seat for our upcoming trip to Toronto if only cause the convertible seat is oh so massive and we are flying with it.
1 week before her 9 month birthday Miss Evangeline decided not to bother further pursing crawling and focus all her energy on standing up instead. She now pushes on things like Dave’s hands, my knees when I am sitting on the floor, low furniture and proudly pulls herself into standing position. She also spends much of her day in Downward Dog position, which is simply to cute for words.
In other news I am doing better on the Wellbutrin, for the first week I really thought I wasen’t going to like it, it made me feel very weird, like I was on speed and moody..but I seem to have leveled out as my system adjusted to it. I have no idea if it’s helped with mood stability/anxiety yet cause I haven’t been faced with much stress/anxiety invoking situations yet..We will see I suppose as time marches on.
Dave, Evangeline and I are headed to Toronto on Thursday (super yeay) for 10 days with family and friends. We will fly there and back as the 14 hour drive is way to much to subject wee Evangeline to at this young age. The flight is only 2.5 hours, much better. I am so excited, can’t wait, hoping she is ok with all the change cause there is a slew of people so very excited to meet her.
Also, Evangeline slept through the night for the past two nights..mindblowing. I had no expectation of this as I was used to nursing her a couple of times a night, however, I guess she is full enough from her dinner/nursing then before bed nursing to sleep through once and awhile. I love it.
