How do you measure a year?

I cannot fathom that my tiny baby girl will be a year old in 2 weeks 2 days. Mind boggling. Were does the time go?

β€œLife is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” β€” Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. Seriously??? She is going to be one?? Where did the time go? It seems like just yesterday you were going in to have her. WOW!!

  2. Hmm.. Are you absolutely sure? Seems unlikely.

  3. This is exactly what I wrote on my FB status the other day when my bean turned one… “I cannot fathom that this little being of light and love is one year old today. She joined us 3.5 weeks early, eager to get out, with the help of my awesome midwife! But she was perfect and healthy and she changed my life forever. Miss L-F, Happy first birthday, my baby love.”

My eldest will be turning 5 soon… 5. Unbelievable. Pay close attention dear… time absolutely flies!!! Happy soon-to-be birthday, Evangeline!
