My girl..and me.

I will take it as a good sign sitter wise, that Evangeline never cries when I drop her off, or clings, or shows any sign of displeasure at all.
This morning when I went to say goodbye to her, she was long gone, out of my sight, playing in the playroom already lol. This child has an independent spirit 10 miles wide. I hope it serves her well in life.

My little munchkin is mastering the art of walking everyday. She takes more and more steps every time I see her. She also seems to be adding new words to her vocabulary every day, it’s amazing. She have at least 5 words down that she used appropriately already. When I speak French to her she just stares at me, then giggles. She LOVES being read to, everyday she want’s me to read her the same books over and over. Peakaboo Baby and Go Baby Go…She loves looking at other babies.

She is STILL a horrific sleeper though, sigh. I guess it’s not surprising, she has always been that way, she fights sleep so hard until she exhaustively passed out for a week. This week is of the no sleeping variety, she has been up 5-6 times a night for 5 straight nights, it’s hard waking up at 6am after that.

While wrestling her into some clothes this morning I seem to have wrenched my damn back, now it’s spasming and very painful…please please don’t get worse, I cannot be incapacitated right now, seriously. Ouchy! I am so prone to lower back crap, growl.

About mommamaynard

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.

  1. oh yeah. good thing the shower was already going.

  2. Have you ever tried a chiropractor? saves me. I wish I had started going about 15 years ago.

Bea is a pretty rotten sleeper too. No solid naps – got 30 min in the car today. I guess we can only wait for them to ‘grow’ out of it.

Glad she likes the sitter. There’s another kid there right, so maybe she is inspired with all the new challenges! Bea has started really crawling seriously today (instead of scooting) after a playgroup yesterday.

    It’s all fun!

  3. So amazing how time flies!! Beautiful little girl! 🙂
