Plant that Potty

Our daughter little E. is now 14 months old. This past week we notice she has become quite aware of her bladder, and let’s us know when she has peed. Since we had begun to toy with introducing a potty, this reinforced the decision. We figured it couldn’t hurt to get a potty and let her practice sitting on it, getting to know it, ect..When the time is right to actually use it, then she would be familiar with it.

On Saturday we were checking a local consignment/children’s wear store when we came across this marvelous product. It may just be the coolest potty I have ever seen, and so were sold. How wonderful would it be to let Miss E. plant her potty in our backyard and grow flowers or a rosebush over it? That’s a whole lotta cool and one less piece of plastic in the dump. Woohoo for cool environmentally friendly toddler stuff.

“Life is like riding a bicycle. To keep your balance you must keep moving.” — Albert Einstein. When it feels like your world has been shattered, and you have reached rock bottom, you must make a choice: Stay where you are and fade away, or keep moving forward. Thankfully I chose to move forward and was blessed with the two most wonderful children after the death of my first in early labor. Things are looking up.
